Holiday Challenges

I made this card for two challenges  PPA72 and SRC 49.  The first challenge is from Pals Paper Arts.  The challenge was to create a card, scrapbook page or 3D project using a fashion photo collection of winter whites as your inspiration.   The Stampin' Royalty Challenge this week was a theme challenge - Winter Holidays.   I  CASED the layout from a card that Mary Fish created.   She has some amazing MOJO!!!  This card did not take me long to make - about 20 minutes and has minimal stamping.  I used a lot of Stampin' Dimensionals to pop the circles and added some basic rhinestones for a little bling!

Card Ingredients:

CS:  Whisper White, Soft Suede, Shimmery White
DSP:  Cocoa Christmas (retired)
Ink:  Soft Suede
Stamp Set:  Circle of Friendship (retired)
Accessories:  Circle Punches - 1 1/4", 1", 3/4"; Basic Rhinestones, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mono Adhesive

Stampin' Royalty Challenge 48

This evening I decided to play along with Stampin' Royalty's weekly challenge.  This week's challenge is a color challenge using the following colors:  Rich Razzleberry, Marina Mist, River Rock, and Early Espresso.  I had a tough time figuring out how to add in River Rock, but I had an epiphany after a half hour of thinking about it......I used a paisley print embossing folder to add some texture to a piece of the River Rock cardstock as a layer over the Early Espresso base.  I brought out another stamp set from last year, Patterned Pines and used that as my focal point of the card.  Basic Rhinestones were added to the Marina Mist trees and Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink to the Rich Razzleberry tree.  The Rich Razzleberry tree is also popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.  It's hard to tell in the picture but I used Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz on the Marina Mist CS for some extra sparkle.  I added some coordinating buttons to complete my design.  The Stampin' Royalty Goddesses have designed some beautiful cards this week.  Click here to view them.

A Color Challenge With Pals Paper Arts

Today I whipped up a card for PPA71 Color Challenge.  Pear Pizzazz, Regal Rose and Early Espresso were the beautiful colors that were picked for the weekly challenge.  I decided to stick with a Christmas theme and I pulled out a stamp set from last year, Berry Christmas.   I love this set with the wreath, holly twig, bird, and holly berries!  I layered the cardstock and stamped the images on Very Vanilla cardstock.  The Stamp-a-ma-jig helped me line up the wreath hanger perfectly!  I added a few Basic Rhinestones to the wreath and for some extra bling, I added Dazzling Diamonds to the Merry Details Sizzlet star.  Simple and elegant!  You can view samples from the fabulous PPA design team here

Ink:  Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, Versa Mark
